What is it about?
"Purity" is a collection of poetry that takes its title from the poet Juan Ramón Jiménez and presents itself as an analytical journey through Irene Domínguez's own biography. The work is divided into five sections, each inspired by traditional Russian dolls (matryoshkas), which symbolize the layers of identity and memory. Through these poems, the author elucidates her family and social environment, her emotional conflicts, her youthful romantic experiences, and her valuation of the human being. The candid and frank point of view from which she narrates each story, wisely linked together, reveals an authenticity that connects with the generational crisis affecting many young people today. The intense lyrical voice and the direct expression with which she unveils reality in a literary way, together with the unifying thought of the various sections, confirm a moral sense of poetic creation in defense of femininity and the integrity of people.
