Description
FINGER IN THE NOSE
Book Summary
A picture book in Galician that humorously addresses one of the most universal childhood habits. Little Sofia has a fixation: she cannot stop picking her nose. Despite her parents' warnings, her finger has settled in so comfortably that it has built a real house inside her nose, complete with a living room and even a kitchen with a tasting menu. A fun and visually engaging story that invites children and parents to reflect on this habit through complicity and play.
What is it about?
This book tells the story of Sofia, a little girl whose nose has grown. Her parents had already warned her, but she cannot resist the temptation to stick her finger in. The situation becomes so extreme that her own finger becomes a tenant, building a complete home inside her nose: a cozy living room, a kitchen with a tasting menu, and everything needed to live. Through colorful illustrations and a rhyming narrative, the work turns a daily habit into an imaginative adventure, showing the consequences in an original and non-moralizing way.
