CRASH!
Book Summary
A fantasy romantic comedy that blends academic rivalry, magic, and unspeakable secrets. Rashidan, a perfect paladin with a bright future, sees his world turned upside down when the mysterious mage Cain bursts into his life with the clear intention of destroying his plans. What begins as an open war at the Eleuthyr School drags them into the Quaestarium, a lethal magical competition, where they will discover that their greatest danger is not their clashes, but a hidden threat that will force them to ally. A fast-paced story, full of tension, humor, and a romance born of hatred.
What is it about?
Rashidan is a paladin of Silvanus with a perfectly mapped-out life: an exemplary family, loyal friends, and the support of his god. His only goal is to graduate from the prestigious Eleuthyr School and rise through the ranks of his church. However, his path crosses with Cain, a new student whose arrival sows chaos. No one knows the enigmatic mage's past, but his animosity toward Rash is immediate and visceral. Cain is determined to sabotage every step he takes, unleashing a rivalry that escalates to the Quaestarium, a high-stakes magical competition. What both are unaware of is that the tournament is merely the setting for a larger conspiracy. Amidst the struggle for supremacy, Rash will begin to discover that Cain keeps monstrous secrets, and that all of them, in one way or another, concern him directly.

Editorial Review
A solid entry in the romantic fantasy subgenre with touches of comedy. The author builds a credible and fun rivalry between two well-defined characters, and knows how to pace the romantic tension with a narrative rhythm that hooks the reader. The context of the magical competition provides a framework of action and danger that elevates the plot beyond mere personal confrontation. The main appeal lies in the chemistry between the protagonists and the promise of secrets that transform the story. An ideal read for those looking for entertainment, romance, and magic in balanced doses.
