Description
HAVE A GOOD HIKE MIKE
Book Summary
A penguin named Celestino embarks on a lighthearted and joyful journey, but soon his backpack is filled with "just in case" items that prevent him from moving forward. This illustrated picture book in English accompanies the reader on a fun trek along the Camino de Santiago, following the rhythm of Gracia Iglesias’ verses. A story about the importance of traveling without unnecessary burdens, ideal for early readers and fans of adventures with a message.
What is it about?
Celestino, an optimistic penguin, begins his walk along the Camino de Santiago with an empty backpack and a light heart. However, as he progresses, he finds items that others recommend he carry "just in case": from an umbrella to extra provisions. Soon, his luggage becomes so heavy that he can barely walk. The story, told in verse, shows how excessive caution can weigh down any adventure, and how learning to let go of the superfluous is key to enjoying the path.
