The reader will find a selection of poems that reflect a poetry conscious of its time, published in a bilingual edition to facilitate access to the original texts. A work that celebrates the normality of the female presence in literary creation.

What is it about?

The book arises from the meeting between two publishers, Huerga y Fierro and LietoColle, with a group of authors united by a common idea: a poetry present before itself, before its own time, and before its world, of which Italy, Spain, and Europe are a part. The different voices trace a map, a constellation that draws the lines of the contemporary Italian landscape. The project is published in two editions: in Italy in the original version and in Spain in a bilingual edition. This anthology, consisting exclusively of women, is conceived as the first part of a diptych, which will be followed by a mirror-anthology of Spanish poetry.

Main Themes

Contemporary Italian poetry written by women

Cultural dialogue between Italy and Spain in the European context

The conscious presence of poetry before its own time and reality

The representation of the Italian landscape and identity through lyric poetry

The normalization of the female voice in poetic creation

Who is it recommended for?

It is aimed at readers interested in contemporary European poetry, especially Italian.
