The author, who admired literary forms transmitted orally in childhood, such as singing games, burlesque tales, and popular stories, incorporates a playful and experimental spirit into these verses. It includes examples of his "special languages," such as "Dipe-lepe ape Papecope," and shows his conviction that a new word can spark the same joy as a discovery. The poems oscillate between intimate confession and linguistic play, offering a representative sample of his most accessible and vital poetry.

Main themes

Childhood as a source of creativity and wonder.

Language as a game and tool for experimentation.

Poetry as a confession and personal diary.

Oral tradition and popular literary forms.

The joy of linguistic discovery.

Who is it recommended for?

This book is recommended for young readers from age 10 who are starting out in poetry, as well as for adults who wish to rediscover Unamuno from a playful and accessible perspective.
